Good Morning Ex ers! Yes Tommy, I75 to I24 west out of Chattanooga to I 65 north out of Nashville all the way up thru Indy to I80/90 west to Chicago I94 thru Chicago and up into Wisconsin to I43 to Sheboygan. Just about everyone except the Cannucks (did I spell that right Connie?) is going to come thru Chicago. OR…have one of the kids show you how to use a GPS. LOL, I personally like to have that Atlas in my hands, but to each his or her own. Anyway, however you get there, bring the Freedom Train, or The Freedom Limo…but come one come all to the Pre-4th of July Bonfire!!!!!!! It’s at 8 p.m. this Sat. July 2nd eastern daylight savings time. I see that we have a lot of new quitters….that’s awesome! Here’s how the fire works: come on out and bring all the cigarettes that you would have smoked since your quit and toss them in the fire. It’s a big party…a HUGE bash. We have food, drinks, music, some of the gals fight over some of the guys and naked firemen, (LOL). Bring your friends, especially the ones that are still smoking. If you HAVEN’T quit yet, please come anyway. Cheer the quitters on…..your quit will come soon enough down the road.

One thing I’d like to request at this fire, not only let us know how many sickorettes you are tossing, but please list your quit date, as well, for our milestone celebrations tracking department.  J Yes, we have some wonderful folks in our community that keep track of the dates, and pass out awards and nods for achievements and milestones.

If you know of someone that cannot make it, have him or her give you their numbers to toss for them. If anyone reading this right now knows you that you can’t make it, message me, and I’ll be happy to toss yours for you.

I’ve not been on much, it’s been a crazy week for me already…..well, it’s been a crazy 3 months. I was last in Sheboygan to celebrate mine, and my grandson’s birthdays in March. I got back here on Apr. 3rd, and had to fire my assistant for duties that he did not perform while I was gone. I had recently had some body work done to my almost-paid-for 2006 Taurus – my first new car ever, and I want to keep it looking pretty while I now run it till the wheels fall off. It ended up costing me A LOT more than originally thought, so I asked my boss if I could work 7 days a week straight through to earn extra money to pay for it, and hire a new assistant a week or two before I leave for vacation again in the end of June.  He agreed, so here I am 3 months later exhausted. You can imagine all the usual cons of working 7 days a week for 3 months, but it has had it’s pro’s too…..I’ve earned a lot of extra $$$, the car repairs are paid for. I also quit on Apr. 13th, so it’s kept me in a busy little bubble for the first, what will be, 80 days of my quit by the time I leave for vacation tomorrow. I have been training my new assistant all week….lots to teach him so that I can feel comfortable leaving him flying solo as of Sat, so I haven’t been able to be on much. I read blogs last nite till I couldn’t keep my eyes open, lol. So….I hope I covered anything….Elders….if I missed anything, please chime in, okay? I hope to see you all there as my Master of Ceremonies grandson, Zander, age 6 tosses the match to light the pre-4th of July bonfire this Sat, July 2nd, 8 p.m. SEE YOU THERE!!!!!
