Four Years!

I was so surprised today to receive an email that Mark mentioned me in the EX Community! Thank you for continuing to keep track of my quit date, since it has been so long that I have logged in. But my Quit Date has remained the same... On October 3 I celebrated four years free from cigarettes! It is such a fabulous way to live! And the next best news? Last year I got certified with the American Lung Association to be a smoking cessation facilitator, and next week i launch my first class! I am so happy to live smoke-free and grateful to be able to pass on this gift to others. If you are trying to quit, keep trying. If you are struggling, don't give up. If I can help in any way, please reach out to me. Here is a photo I took last week while I was washing the walls of a smoker's house (snuck in a message before wiping it clean). IMG_7412.jpg

@Gai.C I got certified through the American Lung Association, here is a link to their facilitator trainings. https://www.lung.org/professional-education/training-certification

It has a cost of about $400, but I was fortunate to get my training paid for by Public Health in my county. My certification is good for three years.

That's great @Amers It's so great to see people giving back either through here like so many amazing people do or the way you're doing it too. @Storm.3.1.14 also got certified I believe. There is someone else as well but I can't think of what their username is at the moment.

Thanks for stopping by and celebrating!
