Today I had did one of my biggest triggers to smoke it was cleaning house before my quit I would wash dishes sit down and smoke a cigarette sweep floor sit down and have a cigarette clean bathroom sit down and have a cigarette etc etc I would do smoking As a treat for accomplishing one thing

Today I cleaned all the way through with only-one ice water break and then when I was done cleaning up the house I treated myself to Burger King

Tomorrow will be 2 weeks quit!!!

2 weeks is wonderful!!! Good job!!!

It is weird to clean without those smoke breaks, but in the beginning a lot of things feel strange.

The only way over it is through it, so hang in there.

You did great.....clean house to boot!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS on Your 2 Weeks    You're Doing Great !

You will find how much less time you spend on chores and how much more time you will have to enjoy the things you like since you have quit

This is the reward cigarette. For many of us it's the one we missed the most.  I would do the same thing whether working inside or out.  Probably doing yard work was even harder because I would enjoy sitting on the porch and smoking.  What I started doing instead was coming to the Ex for a few minutes and then go back to my project.

You're learning new behaviors that don't include smoking-that's how it's done.   Big congrats on 2 weeks.

Did you notice the cleaning probably took half as long without all the breaks?  AND - you had extra $$$ to spend on Burger King now that you aren't buying cigarettes.

How cool is all THAT!  Congrats on making it through H#ll and Heck Weeks!

Keep going!

CONGRATULATIONS, two weeks is amazing! That reward cigarette was the hardest one for me.  I did not realize it until l faced it. It’s not easy to get past it but what a great feeling when you do!

Best,

Ellen
