First Day of the Rest of my Life

Hello everyone! My name is Mary and I live in West Virginia. I’ve been a current smoker for approximately four years now. This isn’t my first time quitting but I’m determined to make it my last! I’m 36 years old and not in the best of health and I feel that smoking is only exasperating my conditions. (I.e. hypertension)

I work in a hospital that has this program and I thought it would be best for me to quit for good. 
my only major challenge this time would be the fact that my mother in law lives with us and she also smokes. I have inquired about her quitting with me but she says NO, that she enjoys smoking and will never quit. With this in mind I thought that I would never be able to quit smoking because being around her wouldn’t be easy. But I finally made the decision to go into a new year smoke free! I am bound and determined to do this for the sake of my health and the health of my kids. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers in the next few weeks as I navigate this mountain!
