One of the keys to a successful Quit is to just keep stacking those days one on top of the other.  Good, bad, happy, sad, calm, frantic, laughing, crying...every single day counts as long as you put NO nicotine into your body!  It sounds like you are doing wonderfully!  You have a lot of support behind you!

OBLENESS74‌ I am SO HAPPY for you, you are doing this and you are already starting to reap some benefits.  Stay with us and be prepared for ups and downs because life does go on, we will always have good days and bad days but we do not have to stuff an addictive and damaging drug into our bodies.

Thank you Ellen, and I'm remaining positive and using the tools I need to stay smoke free. I'm actually feeling a whole lot better too.

OBLENESS74      Hey lady, how are you doing today?  I started thinking about you and realized I had not seen a blog today...not that there is any rule that you HAVE to blog every day.  I just wanted you to know that you are on my mind.  Hope all is well.

My name is Lisa and I'm 42 years old. I started smoking as an adult(in my 30's). Two years ago, I quit and like a dumbass I started again a year ago (sighs)! I'm a diabetic (6years) and on 4 oral medications! I lost my father(my only parent) at the young age of 55 from heart problems which I know the raw truth is from smoking.
