To the Mayo 2008 clan ,
As you all know, much to my dismay, I learned at Mayo that I not only was an addicted smoker but I was obese as well. (And I thought I was just a "fat bastard").
So, for the last 2 weeks I have been doing my treadmill every day, 20 minutes in the am before therapy and now work and then short walks with the dog in the evening. Result- 7 lbs lost in good ole rochester, mn. And..... now 4 more this week to the svelte weight of 205.
Now, I still need to get to 190lbs to just be fat but thats only 15 more lbs so "Fat is just around the corner". My goal is to be just fat by july so I can go on the beach and be a "chick magnet". Chicks dig fat guys much more than obese guys.
Oh, still no smokes after 2 weeks. Imagine that, a ex-smoker and fat, pretty good right??
Anyone have any idea on how to get brains and good looks too?? That would be an unbeatable combination. Anyway folks, I can say that by replacing my cigarette addication with a health kick addiction, I am feeling the best I have since my 20's. So.... when the urge hits you, JUST WALK AWAY.
