Family support

Today my 8 year old daughter surprised me with breakfast and a cup of coffee (with the help of my mother-in-law), while I was reading. I asked her what made her do that and she replied that it had been one week since I quit smoking and this was my reward. Everytime a bad craving hits, I will think of that moment to get me through it 🙂

That's so sweet, Ariane!  Family support is so very, very important.  Congratulations on your ONE WEEK milestone!  Now would be a great time to go jump on the Freedom Train blog published earlier today.  Announce your milestone and get some great reinforcement to keep you strong!  Great job!  Be proud of yourself!

That was very thoughtful of her and your mother-in-law to assist her. Congrats on 1 week, this is just the beginning of your wonderful smoke-free life, it'll just keep getting better and better.

So beautiful! She is happy her mommy is getting better! They see and hear all the bad press smoking gets and she knows this means you won't DIE...My 9 year old great niece crys every day begging her mom (my niece) to stop smoking...She talks and talks about it but doesn't do what you did lady!

MADE A DECISION to quit and keep honoring that decision every minute of every day...A week is a huge celebration friend! Congrats is right! xo

How wonderfully sweet of your daughter and mother in law!!    It must be such a support to have family who knows how important this is. And what a great example you are for your daughter!!!

Keep up the good work, you deserve to be free from this!!!

Thank you:) I wish I had quit years ago but I have to say, this is a better time. Almost all of our family has quit and no one smokes at my husbands new job. He tried quitting twice in the past and he agrees its easier this time around. Lots of support we didn't know we would get!
