Failure is not an option!

Last week I had my yearly MRI done on the lumbar region of my back, needless to say results were not good. S1/L5 has a bad herniation to the point I only have 4mm space left for my spinal cord, normally you have 12mm. L5/L4 is another bad herniation but not putting the same pressure on spinal cord. L4 - L1 is moderate to mild herniations. There is no recourse here but for me to have a double fusion. If I don't I will become paralyzed. So you see, failure is not an option here, failure is not in my vocabulary this time. There is no choice but for me to succeed!! I have done everything humanly possible to prepare for this, I have lots of support and a stash of things to keep my mouth busy. But I know I also have to watch the weight gain!
