FIVE HUNDRED DAYS

Today is a big day for me 🙂  Who'm I kidding?  Every day I don't smoke is HUGE!!!  But I have managed to string together 500 consecutive days of NOT SMOKING.  I have been smoke and nicotine free for FIVE HUNDRED DAY!  Wow!

I am getting ready to go camping - -our annual family camping trip -- this makes the SECOND one as a non smoker.  I have NOT smoked 10,011 cigarettes! What?  TEN THOUSAND.  Imagine those piled on your kitchen table.  500 packs of cigarettes.  50 Cartons.  Worse yet - imagine those ALL snuffed out in an ashtray - a really really big STINKY ashtray.  I can't even imagine how many I smoked in the 37 years that I was smoking...but no more!  I have saved almost 3400.00 by not smoking...I am adding MONTHS to my life now - not stealing minutes away - Five Hundred Days - yay me!

Thank you all for being a part of this journey with me.  I am thrilled to be a success story on this site!

Awesome! Not sure which I'm more envious of: that I have 494 days to say 500, or that you are going camping!

Congratulations Alice on this awesome accomplishment! Hooray on your Great Day!!! You are an inspiration for me, being that I too, smoked for 37 years. I never doubted that there was hope for me, but seeing someone else testify to this accomplishment is an affirmation for me! Thank you for sharing:)

There are no word's !!! Congrad's seem's so, just not enough !!! I know I will be there some day, but, just over a year on July 14th. But, I will be there, if I live long enough, that's the onl;y reason I wouldn't !  You have made a huge Accomplishment !
