Day 73 at the end of a lovely, lazy day

I love weekends.  Today I pretty much did nothing, but made a rockin' dinner that was totally on my diet, and went to bingo this evening and actually  won a couple of games (I was on a long losing streak), and then went to the grocery store (because at 10 p.m. it's very quiet and you can check out without waiting in line) and now I'm having celery, cabbage, cauliflower and tomatoes for a snack!!  Much as I know now that I was never meant to be a smoker, I realize that I was meant to eat healthy!  I'm not feeling even remotely deprived in either area -- as a matter of fact, I feel blessedly enriched in both areas.

I must say that I've been feeling sad about Sheri leaving us, and if anyone knows why she made that decision I would love to know.  She brought such beauty to this group and I know we will all miss her.

I'm approaching the middle of No Mans Land, and I am doing so well.  I haven't had a thought about smoking for weeks and weeks.  But I know to remain vigilant (although I really cannot even remotely imagine how I could possibly smoke after what I've learned and experienced in these 73 days.)

Love to all of you -- sweet dreams!
