Day 6 yeah

I have gone six days and I still have cravings.  I have to consciously fight them and remind my self that I dont smoke anymore. I am doing well and I must find a replacement rather than eating snacks.

YAY! CONGRATULATIONS for reaching 6 days. You are doing great. As for the snacking - are you drinking plenry of water and juice? What about sugarless gum or hard candy? Also you might consider a change of pace when you get an urge. Move away from that environment until the urge passes. You know the old standbys are take a brisk walk, wash some dishes or do some other chore, call a friend, take deep breaths and perhaps do some stretching exercises. Those really helped me - as did a toosie roll pop. Others suggest tic tacs. The only thing that really matters is that you never smoke again.  You have come so far - you can do this!  Shake up your routine a bit. A little goes a long way. Best wishes to you.

Yay!! I'm on day 6!! Water is really helping me-I needed it anyway. I like lollipops personally...

I have avoided all my "smoking areas" and smoking friends really...just till I am strong enough.

Awesome job!!!

Way to go healthy living!!! (love that moniker)  Congratulations on 6 days!!!

The cravings were terrible for me as well, while there were still some tough moments after, I do remember a significant relief after day 5.

Agree with maggie, "you have come so far"  the first 6 are absolutely the hardest, no way I ever want to go through that again.

Now on day 22 and  I'm becoming a big believer in "healthy living".

IT WILL NOT FREAKIN' BEAT ME!!!

NOT TODAY!!!

PERIOD.
