Day 6- Thank you all so much!

Day 6 is officially over and guess what? Today I was around SMOKERS! Real life smokers; It was easy to stay away for from them until now because at work everyone takes smoke breaks away from the building.  Well today, I had to go downtown because I had to pay a traffic ticket. Downtown parking in Nashville is a COMPLETE nightmare that takes all day and then after you park, you have to walk miles. So I decided to get on the bus since it stops in front of the uilding, and would be easier not to mention cheaper. I get to the bus stop and there are about 6 people there waiting, laughing and tlaking. And... Whaddaya know EVERBODY smokes -__- A part of me was tempted, a part of me thought it smelled gross, and another part of me felt sorry for them. If I had 20 feet of arms I would have gave them all a hug.  I think I did well under temptation! Its still a daily battle but it gets easier and easier.

On another note, thank you all so much for your encouraging words, comments, and messages.  Im so lucky to have found you all and I carry you all with me (all thousands of you)  on my smoke-free journey. It means alot to see some people smoke-free for months or years and still come on here everyday giving support to the newbies.

Goodnight Exers  ~Tas

I love this blog.  I needed this after a day of discouragement in my little corner of the world.

You are right; it is AMAZING when we discover we do not NEED to smoke!

Keep the right attitude you have right now and you will do just fine.

It does get easier but those times do arise where we must have our guard up.Thats just not in the beginning of a quit but even after a few years. It can happen at any time. Glad you overcame and congrats on 6 days!! Way to go!!! 🙂
