Good morning,

How is everyone doing? I am on day 5 and proud of it.

I do have a question I sleep with the patch on and the last 3 days I had nightmares, it horrible the last 2 nights. NO worries I am not going back to smoking, just asking for suggestions.

The patch causing nightmares is common and I have read of it a lot over the years.  Most have taken the patch off at night, put a fresh one on in the morning.  I don't remember anyone having a bad time with that, but you will have to give it a bit of time to build up in your system first thing.  Do plan a distraction.

Good job on getting to day five Loretta! I agree with Nancy, I have heard the same. If you’re having bad nightmares it would be worth giving it a try🤗

The 4 days I used the patch, it kept me up all night. I only sleep 4-5 hours a night anyway and it was awful being up around the clock. I didn't have nightmares but vivid dreams. I was afraid to take it off at night because I was worried about those craves first thing in the morning. I think it would be okay to take it off at bedtime but plan for a morning distraction.

Hope it turns out well for you . Let us know as it will help other newcomers reading perhaps who have been experiencing the same thing . You may also read the instructions . They may give you good direction .
