This is my Day 4 and I am still smoke free. I admit when i first made the decision to quit this year I didn't think I would make it to Day 4. I realize that it's only Day 4 but I was fearful of this day most of all because I have the most opportunities to smoke on the weekends.
One thing that has been working for me,besides this site and the new friends here- is music. At night when the urge is the strongest I listen to two songs-Gary Allan's "Every Storm Runs Out of Rain", and Faith Hill's "American Heart" (recommended by an EX member). The first reminds me "this too shall pass" and the second just uplifts me.
I don't know if this will help anyone else but I just wanted to share it in case it does.
