Day 4 Quit

Hi fellow exers, today us day 4 of my quit journey. I have definitely had ups and downs. Ive been really angry and moody for the last couple days. I have been using a patch. And I think it has helped take the edge off. Quitting vaping is a little different than when I quit smoking 5 years ago. I think vaping actually had more nicotine than cigarettes. Anyways, Im still hanging in there. Its getting a little easier. Thanks for all the support.

Congrats on Day 4 Quit!  I believe the early days - - the foundation building days - - are some of the hardest days of a quit.  It will eventually (which varies for each of us) get better.  Keep it up!

Big congrats on 4 days nicotine free.  Those emotions are normal at this stage of quitting.  They will pass.  Keep busy--going for walks really helps to refocus your thoughts.

You got this!

Emotional roller coaster! That’s what it’s like! I find myself grabbing at snacks to eat. I eat sometimes til I can’t eat anymore! I eat a lot of nuts! Handful of nuts at a time! I just know I’m going to gain weight and I just lost 20 lbs! So depressing, although I can breath now and have more energy. I can run longer and faster so there is some positive things to quitting.
