Day 38

It has been a real challange finding my way around this new website. For some reason I am not able to put my clock in my profile ... I will keep trying.

I am still not smoking, but do have cravings from time to time.  I notice it is especially in the kitchen, the place where I used to smoke, and where my husband still smokes when he thinks I am upstairs for the night.  He does smoke outside most of the time though.  Hopefully he too will quit in the future.

I hope the cravings will go away with time.  I think possibly it may be the lower dosage of the patch.  (I am on step 2)  Someone sugessted that this may happen when stepping down.  Just to be on the safe side, I bought another step 2 box in case the step 1 does not seem to cut it.  Bottom line, I still am not smoking and am very proud of that fact.

I think I have gained some weight.  I want to work on the weight issue more when I feel comfortable enough supressing the cravings, in other words when they have gone away for the most part.  I thik a person needs to cut themselves slack when it comes to life changing issues in their lives. To stop smoking is a significate accomplishment, such as weight lose is. I will promise myself to work on loosing weight soon once I feel comfortable enough too.
