I can't believe it. I made it to 1 year with a lot of help and support from my Ex family. Too many to mention. I am so happy I quit and have been able to stay quit. When I came here a year ago I knew nothing about quitting or nicotine addiction. I have learned a lot.
Now I understand that I am always at risk for a relapse after watching several Elders lose their quit. Some came back and some did not. I think about the ones that haven't returned a lot lately. It only took a personal setback and one puff for them to lose what they had worked so hard for. I have tried to learn from their setbacks.
And, I now claim "Elder" status as I work on my "Forever Quit." And when I play the +/-20 game I am now an Elder. So if you are a Newbie make your way over to the game we need folks on the Newbie side.
