Day 28: Ticket Bought to NML

After today, I'll officially have 4 weeks under my belt being nicotine free. I'm heading into NML and I feel ready. I've been taking walks, runs, and bike rides with the dogs and the kids and been getting healthier everyday.

The girls have been finding these painted rocks on the paths and in parks near our house and on the back is written a Facebook page to look up. So now, we'll find and hide rocks and have started to paint some of our own to hide.

It's great fun to do and I figure doing this will certainly help me get through No Mans Land. It's a much more productive habit to take on. I get to be creative, get excersise, and hopefully get to make some finders smile. I love the idea of getting back in touch with my creativity too. It's been some time since I last arted!

To those in NML, I'll see you there and to anyone behind me, just follow the path of painted rocks, but don't forget to leave some to help guide those following you!

Yes, you're ready!

The first guerrilla attack will surprise you but just as before this challenge shows us what we need for that forever trip into Quitdom! Keep everything you learned handy and many days you won't need it - then out of the blue - BAM! But you'll be ready!

Good for you, congratulations on your four weeks.  Beware in NML because tricky Nic might pop out at the craziest times.  I LOVE the painted rocks...that is SO cool.

First congrats on your 27 days you are doing a fantastic job !!!

wow i love the idea of the painted rocks that is such fun maybe i would like to do that here in NH !!! No real beach here except at the river but it would be great fun as we have many rocks and many hiking trails here ! Love your colorful rocks !

It's really neat. Theres a Facebook page for my city and people post rocks they've found or hints to where they've hidden rocks. They are hidden on trails and at the parks. Any public areas really.

The rocks are a divine idea!  I can't WAIT to start! This will also give me an incentive to walk further and further by the river when I am mobile again.

You have come through the first month of your quit in fine style - and running and walking and bike riding will continue to serve you well in NML.

Don't spend active time worrying about it - but do be prepared just in case of an ambush!  It will end, just like the cravings in the beginning.

Onward!

We are at the same place in our quits! I'm not sure how NML works for me because I am using patches. I am here for you though. I love the idea of the rocks.

Congratulations!! You must be feeling pretty good about now. You've already heeded the warnings of no man's land and you're ready! So good to see every time another begins feeling the peace.

ONWARD TO FREEDOM!!!

When I get ambushed, I'll have rocks to throw to defend my quit! Hehe. Only the unfinished ones though.

Ahh thank you! I mean, I'm down with walking and whatnot but the desert is hot and dry. I do my best moving in cooler weather.
