Day 25- still alive :D

I'm still alive, and my quit is still going well. I keep insisting that my quit has been incredibly easy, but people seem to be skeptical of that; oh well!. The only issues I have been having are from other issues that I *already* have that have been complicated by my quit: vertigo, headaches, panic attacks etc. Also, I still get pains in my lungs/chest that are sharp and quickly end, but are still unsettling when they happen (part of the lung healing process, I guess).

I'm going back to the doctor tomorrow to have them check my inner ear out, as my vertigo still hasn't passed as it was supposed to about 3 weeks ago. I seem to have confused some people the last time I posted. No, my dizziness and headaches are not quit related; they are caused by labrynthitis, an inner ear infection that causes vertigo. I am still concerned about the length of time it's taken for my ear to heal, but that is another story for another day.

Keep quitting strong my friends! If I can do it, so can you!

Happy for you, I WAS on day 6 but blew it so now on day 1. You've got 25 !!!! Wow sounds like a long time to me, congradulations and good luck tomorrow. Are you sure the dizziness is not related to anxiety? Retired RN here.   😉

Yeah, I'm sure that my dizziness isn't related to my panic disorder, as those symtoms are quite different than those of an anxiety attack like you had suggested. However, I've had chronic problems with my left ear for about the last 20 years (collapsed eustachion tube, ear drum ruptures, chronic ear aches etc.). I have no reason to believe that it's anything but another issue with my ear, although I'm worried that it's more than a simple case of vertigo at this point. I guess I will find out tomorrow!

My quit was easy too.  Once  I decided no more, I could do it.

As for the pains in your chest, my panic attacks are chest pains.

Hope your ear gets better!

Congrats! I'm glad this has been so easy for you! Sounds like you have other things to be concerned about right now. Sorry the ear thing is persisting so long. I think I previously shared my experience. Vertigo is so annoying, I hope they get to the bottom of it soon.

Congratulations on 25 days!!  That is so GREAT!!  I too have had a very easy quit. Never thought it could be so easy.  Hope you get your other issues resolved.  So sorry that you are going through these right now.  Take care.
