Good Morning...

checking in here.. I hope all is well with everyone. Holidays are around the corner.. seems like it was just here.. lol.. I’m still a non smoker.. I’m so glad I came to this site for help.. I’ve hit some forks in the road this past year but have managed to maintain my quit! It’s the only thing I felt I had control over. If anyone is struggling, just take it one day at a time . Breathe.. and enjoy the feeling of freedom...

This really helped me today, your insight is beautiful .....I quit 40 DOF ago.... (heavy vaping) and it feels like a lot of things seem so out of control, but the one thing I own is my decision not to vape anymore and I am so glad to read you got that also!!  Thank you 1000x over for posting today.

U r so welcome!! My oldest daughter was very ill a few weeks ago and was hospitalized for almost 2 weeks from the vaping .. I hope you can overcome that .. it was a very scary deal for us but thank God she is better ..

woah, hospitalized for almost 2 weeks from vaping, was this in the news? How old is she? I am so glad she is better, what an ordeal for you MOMMA, I have so much empathy for you and your family. This is serious stuff: I want you to write a letter to the vaping company CEO, the FDC, the POTUS, CITY COUNCIL, the MAYOR, anyone who will listen to your story, what the heck!? this vaping has to stop, it should not be legal!   I quit because I felt so guilty with keeping my dirty secret from my husband, co workers, friends and my kids, but my quit does coincide with the recent crazy news that we all read about the dangers of vaping. I used a device called VUSE that not many seem to talk about as the evil empire, and my flavor was original which is nicotine flavor, bc I was an ex smoker so that was my flavor of choice. Everyone mentions JUUL or these large devices that can be combined with THC that seem to put out a large plume of smoke or even that the flavors like strawberry cupcake are the issue, I am curious what device your daughter was using. Pot is legal here in Denver, so the vaping of everything is everywhere and seems regulated to a bare minimum, and it is so scary - we have less oxygen here so people are already trying to get more air in their lungs, crazy right? Thank God she is better, but I just wanted to dialogue with you as you are so brave to share this story with us and you are doing an awesome job as a parent and a mom and you hang in there.  Again you are an inspiration to me and I really enjoyed reading your blog today it helped me a lot in my journey....and I am going to say NOPE NOPE NOPE

So good to hear from you, Cindy.  The weather has been seriously odd this year, we had more days in the 90's than ever recorded.  I like fall and I would like it to FEEL like fall and the Holidays would just feel right...I cannot bake when it is hot outside, it just doesn't FEEL right, LOL.  I do believe that Virginia is cooler than Texas.
