It's only day 2 for me but its been 6yrs since I went more that a few hours without a cig so I'm feeling pretty good about it. I've laughed at myself all day because I am a little spacy, well more than usual! I took everyone's advice and read Allen Carr's book, loved it! I'm also taking Chantix, (its a wonder drug), chewing gum, and cinnamon candy.
I now think of myself as a non smoker and like it. After reading Carr's book it made me realize exactly what the Nicotine addiction does to you, and I now understand why you keep craving cigs. Maybe I'll wear different color socks on each foot, drink my water with a different hand, laugh some more, especially at myself, change up my routine, whatever it takes to stay smoke free! Hopefully no one will aggravate me or there could be trouble.
