I am proud of myself today I hit double digits 10 days cigarette free and on the way to freedom. I am really glad that my blogs are not bothering people and the encouraging words I get daily are something I look forward to every single comment is an inspiration to keep going. Today I have saved R720.00 ( I live in South Africa) that is almost half my grocery bill !!! This saved from not smoking and also stopping drinking. Last night I went to bed at 8pm and had the best sleep I have had in years, no sleep apnia, no sore chest no waking up in the morning coughing until I vomit why did i wait so long to stop smoking? My mind set has changed that I look forward to excercise. Tonight I have band practice again and now I know with confidence that I wont smoke and can enjoy my lungs getting better giving me better vocals 🙂

I am going to reward myself today with a little chocolate or something nice as a congrats personally to myself.

Keep pushing onwards and upwards

About the Author
i am a musician and biker at heart. I have a gorgeous little daughter who I treasure with all my heart, she is one of the main reasons for me stopping smoking. i want to walk her down the isle one day. My wife is a smoker which is a challenge but she supports my quit. I had a really big scare on the 2nd Jan 2017 where I stopped breathing everytime I fell asleep and had bad chest pains throughout the night, this was the time to say enough. I am getting healthy again and i am back at gym and enjoying the benefits daily of stopping smoking. Onwards and upwards.
