Day one, 2 puffs of a cig since 7:30am. Wow this is difficult, however, I knew it would be. Biggest fear, as soon as I awake in the morning,as well as that drive to work. I have been smoking for 22 years, I am praying with assistance from this patch... I WILL overcome cigs.. and not allow them to control me.. as they took my dads life in 2006 at young age of 56. Praying that the patch doesnt keep me up with vivd dreams..

Wait.....did you quit and then have 2 puffs of a cigarette with a patch on?  I hope not!

Please do not smoke while on the patch or any other nicotine replacement.

If you took one puff you haven't quit yet.  Please Please read as much as you can.  Work the program and when you quit it is N.O.P.E.  Not one puff ever.

If you smoke within 72 hours AFTER using the patch you can OVERDOSE on nicotine!

Good morning. I had 2 puffs prior to the patch. 🙂 and still no cigarettes! This is very difficult, more so the habit. One day at a time...

The patch can work if your head is in it. Remember, the patch is a tool to help you with some of the physical withdrawal but you have to read, read, read and prepare yourself for the craving to fall back into old routines and to use smoking to "cope".

The patch worked for me in that it eased my physical withdrawal but what really helped me was realizing what I was gaining from quitting and how much I could accomplish smoke free. Carr's book was sent from the heavens. It was what I needed to turn that corner. What do you need to turn that corner?
