Dawn Krupa Rest In Peace My Dear Dear Friend!

If you happened to be outside at 2:00 AM Eastern time this morning, you may have felt a slight stirring of the air as the Pearly Gates Of Heaven swung open to welcome our Sister in Freedom, Dawn. For the past year and a half Dawn has put up a valiant fight against a cancer that has no cure. Throughout the battle she has maintained an unshakable faith in God. And unquenchable thirst for life. There is no question in my mind that The Lord has prepared a special place for this Lady!

She is survived by two families. There is the one that she was born into, and brought three daughters into, and her family here at EX. Her trademark WOOOOO HOOOOO will forever echo through the celebrations on the Freedom Train.

I hope that God will forgive me. I know that this is a time in which we should be celebrating her life, but I am sad. While I know in my heart of hearts that there is one more angel watching over me, I also know that there is one less person here on earth that truly loved me.

Good bye my Dear Sweet Dawn. May Your Rest Be As Sweet As My Memories Of You!

God, we commend the spirt and soul of our sister Dawn into Your loving care! Amen

When I first came back to this website last October, Dawn was one of the first ones to welcome me and add me as a friend.  She asked if she could add me to her prayer list to which I responded “sure”.  I had no idea at the time about her serious health issues.  What an amazing act of a selfless woman reaching outside of herself and trying to help a newcomer.  Perhaps it was the prayers of this strong woman who knew the Lord that helped me this time around to hold on tightly to my Quit.

A bright, shining star will be forever missed on this website.  Prayers to her family and loved ones.  Thank you, Tommy, for this beautiful memorial to Dawn.

Each life touches so many other lives...and when gone, leaves such a hole.

We celebrate her life, we know she looks in on us still, we sadly mourn her loss.

I met Dawn the first day she came here.  She blogged to introduce herself and as with everyone the entire site came to introduce themselves and offer support to her.  She used to make fun of me because in those first days and weeks I told her when a bad craving hit ... go soak in the tub and shave her legs!  lol

I found out a little later that she and I would be forever friends.  My heart aches to think of her not here.  It is selfish of me because she is in a much better place.  It's those she left behind that will grieve and miss her.  Thank goodness for memories.

For her family... Mom, Kids and Grandbabies... I send my deepest regards.  She was a special lady who thoughtlessly gave herself and time to help anyone she could.

Love you Dawn!

Tommy, I am sorry for your loss,  Remember that she is not "gone" because you carry her in your heart forever &ever, There are stages of grief and it comes in no order,,,shock anger, depression or overwhelming sadness and acceptance,  Mostly, we drift back and forth through those stages after we lose someone dear to us,  It is healthy to grieve our losses and not stuff the feelings.

What a beautiful outpouring of love from everyone here...I wish I could have known her and I am sure her spirit still hangs out in the blogs whispering to those struggling with their quit or searching for the right words that might help someone...xo
