For all the things we do in life, Nothing is guaranteed, But promises are the next best thing to a guarantee. I guarantee if I continue to smoke I will have severe health issues, I promise I will QUIT , and I will breath much better. I guarantee if I continue to smoke I will have shortness of breath. But the promises of QUITTING have guaranteed results. By QUITTING The promises are endless, I will live longer, That's no guarantee, But a FACT! That each day I don't smoke I gain a few minutes of my life back. I promise to spend time with my grandchildren., Be it shooting hoops or pushing them in a swing.
