Just got word that the plane is in the air. The plane carrying my son and 100 other tired, dirty, frustrated, soldiers. These poor guys have been having delay after delay. It has gone on for a week now. They have been told, you are going to go home, get 10 minutes away from getting on the bus to take them to the airport, and then told, nope, not happening. As my 2 year old grandson says : Na Nice!!! So keep your fingers, toes and eyes crossed that there will be no more delays and that they will indeed be home tonight. I have waited a whole year to see the joy on my sons face and his fiance's face when they first see each other.
It is raining here. AGAIN!! My friend is coming to get me to take me to have my port put in. I told her to have a gallon of coffee waiting for me when I wake up. I need my coffee. This is worse than cigarette cravings used to be. I mean I am ready to scream. I don't think it is the coffee, it is just the fact that I can't drink anything. I feel like I have cotton mouth. I brushed my teeth and was real tempted to swallow the mouth wash.
I couldn't put on my deodarent ( spelling- it's the lack of coffee :)) so even though I had a shower less than an hour ago, I feel like I need another one.
