Hello, my name is Christine. I am a 40 year old mother of two wonderful boys (ages 7 & 9), and I joined this site to find some help in quitting. On Christmas day my mother told me the best thing I could give her would be a "smoke free" daughter. Wow! That cut deep......I have since filled a prescription for Chantix and started taking it 4 days ago. 20+years of smoking, isnt going to be easy to give up. I am a stress, and social smoker, and everyone else at work smokes. I also have a HUGE fear of gaining weight, becasue of replacing my smoking habit with an eating habit....Anyone who has any advice would be GREAT.
