Share your quitting journey
I found this community online and joined the same day which was June 22nd 2014 I also set up a quit date for the 7th of June BUT when the day arrived I wasn't ready so I reset it for July 14th AND promised myself that I would never pick up another cigarette as long as I live! I don't break promises to anyone including myself so the night before I quit I pretty much smoked my brains out yuck! After the last smoke I cleaned up all of the smoking crap and threw everything in the garbage and went to bed THEN on day ONE I kept my mind as well as my hands occupied AND nd at the end of the day I made it through day WON YAY!!! π Somehow LIFE got in the way AND for whatever reason I never got back to the site until my 18th day when I felt like I was going to crawl out of my own skin UGH or tear my hair out or rip someone's face off anyone's face it really didn't matter whose lol!!! I was ready to jump in my car and head for the store AND buy a carton of cigarettes! Screw the package BUT thankfully I remembered this site and got on line up until this point I never let myself be known BUT that morning I did comment on someones post AND @moody_9-18-13 whom I haven't seen on site in years asked me to say a little bit about myself so I did and hear I am living my Forever Quit! This community is a huge part of my quit journey!!! As difficult as quitting smoking is it's also very Doable BUT WE MUST MAKE THE CHOICE TO STICK WITH OUR PRECIOUS QUITS ~ N.M.W ~ NO MATTER WHAT ~ VIGILANCE WORKS! THE CHOICE IS OURS!!!!
