Description

I quit in October 2007 by using CHANTIX (since quitting I get kind of nauseated at the thought of smoking - that replaced the urges)  In 2012 my husband (an ex smoker) was diagnosed with lung cancer... fortunately in stage ONE. He's gotten treatment and hopefully he'll be cancer free.

LOVING my new quit-ness. I'm not an expert, but I hope my experiences can help someone. 😃
RELAPSE: I had the 'ultimate' relapse after quitting in 1984 (with my husband) and after staying quit for 12 years I thought I could have "recreational" smokes. I know... how stupid of me. Well, I relapsed for 11 years!!! A fact that I miserably regret to this day.

During that 11 years I tried EVERYTHING to quit:
Patches, Gum, Lozenges, Micro Tabs, Nic Inhalers, Wellbutrin/Zyban, Hypnosis, Talk Therapy and Laser treatments. Nothing worked until I found Chantix. (Thank you God!)
