Chantix

I spoke t o my dr yesterday to help me with my smoking cessation. Honestly he's my psychiatrist. I asked about chantix because I have bipolar. My mood swings I fear would be insane. He recommended chantix.  He told me about the side effects and we decided to ramp up my other meds prior to chantix. He advised me to hold off on the full blown quitting until the chantix . I've done research and it looks promising . People say it causes mental issues . But hey I've already got them lol. What are your thoughts?
