Good morning!!  I am so happy to say I have 80 days today--I wanted to celebrate with all of you because you've been part of my journey on the road to Freedom. Most of my smoking time I smoked between one pak and one pak and a half a day, tending more to the greater amount.  So given that, I will do some math and claim my $777.60 saved  I had a low dose CT scan of my lungs two days ago but do not have the results yet--please keep me in prayer that my results are good.  This is all worth any hard times I've gone through with quitting--money saved, my breathing is much better, I don't wreak of stale cigarette smoke, I am not constantly kicking myself over the fact that constantly need a cigarette and I am out of control with my smoking-- because I am no longer active in my addiction!!! Yay.  I encourage everyone just starting out, It is worth it, and I say to everyone further along, thank you for your encouragement and support, not just for me but for everyone--,ya'll are a great group of folks.  I know I need to be vigilant each day as I go forward here in No Man's Land--and I am grateful that is something I've learned through both my own experience and by reading wise words here at Ex.  I hope everyone 's day goes well and that you feel great about your choice to stop feeding your addiction.

I am 59 years old and love my four dogs and two cats, all strays I couldn't turn away. I love to be outside in my yard, watching the birds or puttering around in the dirt. I am so grateful that I let go of those inner voices that kept telling me, It is too late to quit smoking, or, Why quit now? I am so looking forward to being smoke-free.
