Have you relied upon spirituality or religious beliefs to help you on your quitting journey? The EX Community wants to hear from you!

We're looking for a few community members to join an expert panel and share their personal experiences with how spirituality has supported their quit journey. This is part of our new "Quitting and Identity" event series exploring different aspects of identity that can impact the quitting process.

On April 16th or 30th (TBD) at 1:30pm EST, we'll be hosting a virtual panel discussion titled "Spirituality and Quitting: How Identifying as a Spiritual Person Can Transform Your Quit Journey." The panel will feature Dr. David McFadden from the Mayo Clinic discussing research on spirituality in addiction treatment.

But we also want to hear from you--community members who have lived experience drawing on spiritual strength throughout your quit. Whether you follow an established religion or a more personal spiritual path, we'd love to have you share your story.

How has your spiritual identity given you motivation, resilience or a new perspective during your quit? What spiritual practices, beliefs or communities have been most meaningful? We're looking for a diverse range of spiritual voices for the panel.

If you're interested in being considered as a potential panelist, please send a private message to @CommunityAdmin with a brief description of your experience leveraging spirituality or religion to quit nicotine. This is a great way to inspire others on their quit journeys

We'll be reviewing applications over the next couple weeks, so don't delay in reaching out. Share your spiritual quit story with the EX Community!
