Blogging about being grouchy.

Hi, I am just grouchy today. My boss also was, he and I have worked together for 11 years now, in a very busy restaurant, so, I try and just think----------he is the one who is going to have a stroke because he doesn't handle stress well, and him yelling at me hardly ever has anything to do with anything I am doing. And most recently, smoking a cigarette will not make him a better communicator or any less of a stressful person.

I'm going ot go try and fix my computer now.

I'm glad you guys are here, and I have learned how to manage my stress (also when my stomach was messed up, I have learned some of these techniques) but you guys have taught me some new ways to think about it.

Or i probably would have just broke down and had a cigarette today. It was a very Monday ey MOnday. Thanks for letting me share..Blah! argggggggggh!

I am really proud of you!  I totally understand what you are going through.  Deep breathing always worked for me when I was at work.  I now try to work or do an extra hour of work.

Great Job

Oh and another thing that has been the source of stress for me, that I just wanted to share, because it's something that has been effecting my entire familly. Or cat of 13 years has a tumor in his face, first he had to have his eye removed, we thought it was because he was in a fight about 10 years ago, but then after I paid 300$ i don't have (some friends actually donated time and money to the cause) it turns out he has a tumor in his face. I had pretty much come to the realization that he would need to be put to sleep. My son and I weren't surprised about the cancer, because he had lost a lot of weight this summer and stopped eating, but then after a period of hibernation, he immerged from under the couch hungry, and now has to be fed wet food only about every 4 hours a day. His face is looking real bad, but he seems to want to live....it's really hard to deal with...

Thanks again for letting me share.

Awww.....I'm so sorry for your cat, Melissa. I have had cats all my life so I truly can understand. It sounds like you're just experiencing a lot of crap right now. It's ok to vent about it.

It's NOT ok to smoke over it. Remember, NO PROVOCATION will make us smoke again because we're non-smokers now. Honest, it does get better!

Mel, you being able to even talk yourself through that situation with as much clarity as you did puts you far ahead many people. You managed to keep things in perspective today. Kudos to you. I'm so proud of you for protecting your quit. ((((hugs))))
