Been Tough.

Buried my 81 year old Mother yesterday.  She died of COPD, has had it for years... It was rough watching her decline, but the Good Lord has called her home.

I know she now breaths free, walks great and is at Peace. The stress of all of this has been unbelievable.

Today is 3 months of being smoke free....through all of this I have not touched a cigarette... I hope I can keep up with this mind set...

I miss my Mom, but couldn't stand seeing her in this condition...this has been a life lesson and I hope I have learned it well.

I am so sorry for the loss of your mother, Linda.  I know she is up in heaven, dancing and taking breaths she has not been able to in a long time.  I am sure if she could reach down and give you a message it would read that she wants you to keep your quit, so you don't have go through what she did, and she will see you again!

I love this song - may it mean something to you at this time:

I hope you never lose your sense of wonder,
You get your fill to eat but always keep that hunger,
May you never take one single breath for granted,
God forbid love ever leave you empty handed,
I hope you still feel small when you stand beside the ocean,
Whenever one door closes I hope one more opens,
Promise me that you'll give faith a fighting chance,
And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance.

I hope you dance... I hope you dance...

Keeping you in prayer,

Joan
