Hi All!

My name is Kelly,  I am 47 years old, I live in Ohio, I am married with 3 wonderful children and 6 beautiful grandchildren that call me Nana.

I came across this site back in Nov. of 2010.  I set my quit date for Dec. 1st and by Dec. 18th I gave in.  I was so sad and disappointed in myself.  But I kept coming back here for some reason.  The reason was because people here understood and they didn't judge.  By Jan. 19th 2011 I was diagnosed with Severe Asthma so by Jan 20th I stopped smoking cold turkey after smoking since I was twelve over a pack a day.  I never thought I could do it.  During the next couple of months I almost feel.  Thank God for this site because they stayed up with me that night until I was ok to go to bed and not smoke.

I am happy to say that as of today I still do not smoke.  I have gone a year and a half without one puff.

Do I miss it?     Sometimes

I probably think about smoking 5 out of 7 days of the week.  But believe me, as soon as I get that urge I start thinking of the night I coughed until I passed out and found myself on the kitchen floor with a bruise on my face.  There are so many many reasons to not smoke.  Taking it day by day you will see.  Staying here with the Ex's will be your Bible for the next few months but like me you might wonder off because you can do it on your own.  But I promise you the friends you make here are AMAZING!  They are like no one you will ever meet.

Good to be back,

Love you all Big Bunches,

Kelly ❤️

You are the BEST Kelly!   In your words....    "Please say a prayer for a very special lady who just recently went into surgery to receive her new lungs. Dear Lord Jesus, I'm asking in your name Father that You protect our Joanne, and give her a second chance at breath. We are so grateful for the organ donor that you have blessed her with, and ask that you comfort their family and friends. Please keep our friend safe. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen♥"

Hi there!  Glad you came back & still feel @ home as U should.  Keep up the good work & helping those that still smoke with your truth about the cravings still being part of your quit. With those words U help some know that it may just be a part of it all & it will pass. Tammy
