I had a thought last night as I was winding down the evening of the last time I went to bed with "the echoes of the amplifier ringing in my head". It was 2009 I think and I was singing with some friends of mine at the local bar. My thoughts wandered off to "the day's last cigarette" and I realized how close I was to my first milestone of a year without cigarettes.... 12 days out and counting. I think i'll treat myself to dinner (family too) for finally committing to a life without smoking.
