Each and every day WON is TRULY THE GIFT OF LIFE that'll keep on giving day after day week after week month after month AND Lord willing year after year AND all we've got to do is stick with our precious quits! It's definitely NOT easy by any stretch of the imagination in those early stages of our quits BUT it's absolutely doable AND totally worth it to be Free! NONE of us has to ever go back to another day ONE EVER! ~ N.O.P.E ~ Not One Puff Ever ~ N.M.W ~ No Matter what > Works when applied on a daily basis!

Good Morning,

Yesterday took advantage of the weather and spent couple hours washing all the grit off the inside and out of the car. Imagine Feb 5th took out hose and washed the car in Northern WI. And boy did I  want a cigarette once done. I remember from time to time a smoke urge would come up once house cleaning was done even after 4 years. SO  "another day to be won" is truly to be vigilant every day and N.O.P.E

This addiction of ours is tenacious (at least the psychological part is)!  Even after almost twelve years, I still might get the thought:  "gee, a cigarette would be nice right now" when I take a break from chores I only do once a year, or on my yearly trip to the beach when I watch a sunrise.  Easy to conquer because I know there can never be "just one" to a addict.

I shake my head, tell myself, "well, I don't DO that anymore" and move on.  Amazing to me that it still holds on, though!

Glad you got past it.  Might you come up with another reward?  I now treat myself to an iced cold Pepsi over crushed ice (I don't regularly drink soda anymore).   It works!

Yes indeed, another day that I don't have to smoke.  So agree with those nic urges, even after being many years quit.  I always said "If nicotine was safe, I would have never quit", then I fell back into the nic trap again.  Now that I am free, I never plan to go back to it.  I appreciate this freedom and I earned this freedom.  I pledge with all of you.....no smoking today.  Let's WIN this day.
