My quit was going to be january first this year. Made it a while, tried and tired. And then gave in for one at a friends house. Just one I finally tried to say. Then one turned into two, then a pack on the way home. My "last pack" I told myself, cuz hey, you're trying and one packs better than it coulda been. Then I stopped again. I just have not been able to quit. I have tried MANY times since I started. Im just never able to stay off of them. I cant afford the patches and gums generally, even is hard to afford cigarettes. But when things are tight theres nothing I feel I need more than my old friend Marlboro. I know I need to stop, my coughing and hacking in the mornings has been horrible, I dont even get through my first cigarette of the day without coughing like its the first one I ever had. I had an E-cig, and it kinda helped, but broke and I cant get another one cuz I  can barely  make it the few days without them to save the money for it. Anyone have any tips for me? If you felt you couldnt but one thing that just did it for you that may be worth a try? I could really use just about any advice. Thank you.

"Quitting smoking is easy, I've done it 1000 times" Mark Twain. Now I need to make the onethousandth and first time stick.
