Almost 72 Hours In

In a few hours, I'll have 72 hours under my belt fo this quit.

I was faced with a challenge yesterday, and I overcame it! My daughter had gone to Hershey Park with a friend for a few days and she wanted me to come and pick her up and take her to church with our family. I went (alone) to pick her up, which would have been a prime time for me to smoke. Instead of stopping to buy a new pack, and pull over and puff on something that would kill me eventually, I put on some praise and worship music and drove to pick her up. It wasn't too much of a temptation, and before I knew it, I was out of the woods.

Today might be similar in the sense that there's bound to be some temptation today. The workweek has started, and on Monday my husband always takes our minivan, which is the only car I'm "allowed" to drive. (The other vehicle we have has too many problems, and he doesn't feel that it's safe for me to drive it)

Even so, it already crossed my mind to walk to the store this morning to pick up a pack before it gets too hot outside. I could use some encouragement from you guys to not do that today.
