Awesome weekend with Sam….
Jeez…wish I had this little man all the time,
I’d never have another smoke craving,
well…if I did it would be a lot easier to control.
I got myself in a pickle, let’s just say (for shits and giggles)
it was a bit of a miss understanding,
looking back on it now…it shouldn’t have been a big deal,
but Friday , it was, See one of my best friends is going
through a divorce, and as I stop in to say Hi,
I was sucked into an argument….no…literally
sucked into it, one threw the punch as I got in-between
them and WHAMOOO I got it! we all had a good laugh,
after the fact, but, my jaw hurts!
well, yep. I did have one smoke,
I told myself it was just to calm down…but since then I haven’t smoked
but…I’m thinking about it, the craving is strong today.
Any how…I am trying to maintain , and be positive,
how about a little pick me up from my buds out there?

If you want to get rid of the cravings, don't smoke. Even if you get punched. Or your ass falls off. Give me a good enough reason to smoke, and I'll throw away the time I have and light up with you. No one has ever challenged me on this.

Sara Lee...of course you're going to be thinking about it! You know you can't even take one puff...let alone a whole cigarette without having to go through the horrible cravings again. The whole point of quitting smoking is not one puff ever or you're right back on the old roller coaster again. When you quit, you have to realized that that's it...no more smoking under any circumstances, even a death in the family or a divorce! You just can't smoke if you want to be a non-smoker. Maybe it won't be so bad if you just never take another puff now. Don't even think of having that next cigarette. When you think about it, fight the urge with everything that you have. I'm sorry to sound so stern, but blowing a quit is really serious business.

yeah, i know your right...i wasn't asking for a pity party, i was the idiot...i'm fully aware of that fact.
you know the famous excuse "it just seemed to happen?" well, this was such a case, now i know i should have caught myself..of that there is no excuse, but honestly, i was done with the cig before i realized i smoked it...i was so caught up in the drama, that dumbass me did not even think!
so i'm guess i'm asking has any one else been caught up in something, that the drama just took over, and if so how do you fight it...both of my punching buddies smoke, and after the whamoo...and i got to my feet,
well...it was just drama. and i screwed up...your right 100% i can't argue with that!! no matter what i say...i
F*&%#@ up !! thanks for the kick in the pants!!!

Hon...I know you feel really bad about smoking that cigarette, so just put it behind you and go on. Today is a brand new day! You wouldn't be on this site if you didn't truly want to be a quitter. If you haven't already joined the group Relapse Traps, you should. If you don't want to join, you can still read the discussions. They have a big list that can be a really big help to you. You can do this!

Ok, so you screwed up, now move forward. Each time you screw up was practice for the big day. OK! Pracitice is over, now is the BIG DAY. Go OUT there and WIN!!!
Seriously, you can do this. You know you have to stay on your toes and that you can't have a cigarette or a puff. If you are tempted just scream at the top of your lungs "NO!"
