So... 3 months ago I let my anger and rage hit my self destruct button and have been there every since. I bought a pack smoked 2 threw them away and 2 weeks later i was telling myself i didnt care about my quit or anything but smoking my cigs. So now here I am. I really dont know how i did it the first time but i will do it again.

Welcome back - you did it the first time by not smoking - plain and simple.  You said that anger got the best of you - well I am here to tell you that right now, this very moment, I am about as Pis**d off as a girl can be - but I am not  smoking over it.  Re-educate yourself about this addiction and start over - Make up your mind that you will not smoke - no matter what.  Best wishes to you.

To start - you know what you did wrong last time - so make a plan what you will do differently in that circumstance THIS time.

Then - maybe re-educate?  Get your distraction tools lined up.  Decide if you will use an NRT.  Get ready.

Set your date - then DO it!  You did it once; you can again!

You may want to stay a little closer to the site until you are stronger.  Blogging, Reading, Studying, Questioning, Learning, Talking, with a group really helps more than trying to do it on my own.

Have not smoked today? ... OK  ... it is clear your mind is not into a quit.  Prepare... read, research and plan... when you quit you make a choice not to smoke.  All of us thought we "needed" to smoke and wanted to smoke... and it was uncomfortable.  You have to understand that you have TOTAL control..... no excuses... no circumstances will MAKE you smoke.... only you.   Make a decision... then stick with it and slowly you can QUIT for good.

YOU CAN QUIT... YOU HAVE THE POWER... now, make choices i.e. not one puff .. no matter what... and you know what????  It will not kill you not to smoke... you will not fall apart.... (you might cry ... only kidding).... don't let NIC make you think you don't have a choice...  hang in there!
