Hi Everyone,

I got a ride  to the pool for therapy for my ankle,  met this older gentleman and we started taling and of ccourse I had to tell him I quit smoking and he told me he quit when they went from 25 cents to 30 cents a pack too expensive, he said he gained 220 in weight.

He looked fit as a fiddle to me and he said he just ate right and started taking exercises.

so there is light at the other end, he was healthy and happy and an older guy looking fit.

So it can be done and he didn't smoke anymore.

Love Aztec

it gave me ashot in the arm

That's encouraging for me too. I've been a little concerned about my weight. But I have to feel more in control of my addiction before I start working on my eating habits.  I tried watching what I eat about 3 weeks ago, but it didn't last long.  I can only fight one battle at a time.

Wow! If I'd have quit when they were thirty cents a pack I never would have started! But it's true that we all can achieve smoke free lives forever! Thanks for sharing.
