 I had a procedure done on my lumbar spine this morning. It hurt so bad and I have a high tolerance for pain.. So here I am at home by myself and sometimes... you know? This is very unusual for me to reach out like this but...

Maggie I am so sorry I hope it was a injection for pain and that it will soon take, if not get on some pain pills and take every four hours for at least the next 8hrs.  Sometimes when we have procedures we feel victimized, not fair but you have us here and reach out often I wish I had one of those good jokes now to make you smile.  Ice packs can help and then a hot bath to loosen up your back.  Take care sending you a huge hug!

You must take it easy but I know sometimes that doesn't even help.

It's been 2 1/2 wks since my fall and they haven't been able to get the pain level to where the doc and I feel is acceptable yet.

Oh my dear Maggie Im thinking  Pain, Lumbar, procedure.... Blown Disc?  You are very important to me Maggie and if I had the ability to do the fancy stuff (you know eventually I will learn) I would spend an hour sending you  the best stuff I could! HOWEVER... I'm not there just yet. Im so sorry your in pain my friend. Take it easy please and  only take what you absolutely must (narcotics) because ALL narcotics cause constipation. Pain in the lumbar region and pushing dont mix yanno 🙂 If you must...go ahead, use the narcotics but add plenty of fluids and also at least one stool softerner. drinking prune juice helps, too. If there is anything I can do , please let me know. ((((((((((((((((((((((MAGGIE))))))))))))))))))))))
