A minute to reflect

I wanted to take a few minutes today to reflect back over the past 38 days.  I have had good days and some not so good days. But the main thing is I am smoke free. I am thankful for nicotine patches and being able to stay busy, and of course the most important, God, for giving me the strength to do this. For anyone who may read this and think you can't. Well, you can. You just have to believe you can. I know this is gonna be a challenge to stay quit, forever. But, it is so worth it. I lost my mother to lung cancer in 2016, I pray that with quitting, my daughter never has to deal with the misery I seen my poor mommy go through .

Congratulations on your 38 days!

I lost my dad to lung cancer over 20 years ago. It took me those 20 years before I quit. Thank goodness it has taken you only 3. Each time you think about lighting up, remember what your mommy looked like right before she died.  Is that the way you want your kids to remember you?

You can so do this. Stay strong and reach out to us whenever you need to....
