A 20 day process but a 3 day determination

Hello everyone that is trying to quit nicotine,

It’s been only 18 days since I have quit vaping and it feels really good already!

From my experience, I can say that once you have taken the path to quit, the first three days is when your addiction is going to be the strongest. One puff is all it takes to break that determination, just one. So if you cross the three day mark without a single puff.. your odds of quitting have significantly improved. Just commit and throw the addiction away.

Nicotine patches of helped me out a lot in my journey! The first few days of nicotine patches gave me vivid dreams. But after that point, the vivid dreams went away! I used the off-brand patches from Target. It’s cheaper and just as good as the more expensive brand. As a backup I also got nicotine lozenges(from Walmart), but I never had to use them. Announce to your friends and family about your journey. If they don’t check in, you message/call them with a “Hey it’s my day 12 of quitting! Yay” They will generally respond back with even more excitement! Lastly, drink water, A LOT of water. Exercise because leaving vape/smoke might give you muscle pain and headaches. A good exercise (even for 10-15 mins) combats this effects. Sleep well, about 7-8 hours.

p.s. - Don’t wear nicotine patches while you sleep if the vivid dreams are extreme.
