8 days since I quit

Now that I’ve made it through my first weekend without smoking, each day is feeling easier. It actually feels like it’s been a lot longer since 8 days since I quit and I am gaining more confidence that I can remain smoke free, one day at a time. Last night, I had a great and deep conversation with my husband sitting on the couch in the living room, no cigarettes needed. I know this is the lies that tobacco addiction tells us, but I really thought we might not connect in the same way without the cigarettes. What a load of baloney! It’s been really nice to not really be having intense cravings and not be feeling angry that I can’t smoke like I have sometimes when I have quit in the past. Thank you so much to Become An Ex and all of you. This is a fantastic resource.
