Good morning everyone and Happy Veteran's day to all of our men and women who served this country,my jake being one, fought more than one war. I'm so very proud of him.

Is this cartoon the truth or what? Jake bought his pack in Safeway yesterday and came out with a receipt for a bit over 10 dollars....geez,one of the reasons I've quit. We can no longer afford to buy for two!

According to the Become an EX clock?? I have completed 7 DOF. 1 big week!! And if you want to call it hell week, I sure pray that is over, for like about the 4th time. 🙂

Well thats it for me this morning. It is my hope that everyone's smoke free day, stays just that!

Congrats on Day 7 Sharon!  That's amazing-you should be very proud of yourself!  Hell week is over and it's on to Heck week which isn't as bad.  Have a great smoke-free day my friend! 🙂

Yay Sharon , goodbye Hell wk and hello heck wk , just keep plowing forward because life without the crutch of cigarettes is 100 % worth it , I pray that hell wk will be alot easier for you but even if there's a ton of rough patches keep telling yourself that it will get easier but unfortunately it does take time but you are a tough lady and you can and will get through it and come out the other side smiling because each day you get through is another day WON ! 🙂

Good morning Sharon. Thx for the recognition of us vets, and tell Jake I said welcome home. As for your quit, omg you must be a saint, or a lamb. I will refrain from commenting on his behavior, and focus on your successful journey through the last week. Great job with staying close by and active. We can all see through the cyber peephole how much you want this to be your forever quit. Please consider asking Jake to not share anything else with you that is even remotely connected to smoking? At least for now. Your quit is worthy of your protection. That's just a subtle example for him to see you in action. Just a thought. Enjoy your smokefree day today. Pops

Congrats on 7 days!  I know it was a tough week, but you made it and for that, you should be so proud! My primary reason for quitting is because of the money being spent on cigarettes. My husband and I quit together. It costs approx $7/pack here in WI. According to my Quit it! app,  we have saved over $500 so far and almost 1500 smokes between the 2 of us. That is what keeps me going - no more of my hard earned $ is going towards cigarettes. I might as well roll up my money and burn it.

Keep on being strong - you have what it takes to succeed!

And good for you, keep your resolve and you will get through another week, even easier than the last one!

Sharon I am so proud of you!!! Not just for getting through hell week but getting back on that horse so quickly. Pretty soon people will be choosing between smoking and food and I know what some of them will pick.
