Just want to let all you new Exers know...you can do it...I smoked for 35 years...HARD...if  I can do it...you can too...be strong stay committed...use this site...talk to whom ever will listen...scream, yell...eat...the few extra pounds will come off eventually...I promise...losing my 10 extra now...

Don't buy into your minds tricks...oh just 1....I can stop anytime...just not now...to much going on...I can't afford knew clothes when I gain weight...I really don't smoke that much...BLAH...BLAH...BLAH....Don't buy into that BS...and just don't smoke...not today...worry about tomorrow...tomorrow...

I agree. i smoked for over 30 years and never thought I could quit. 9 weeks today thanks in large part to all the great folks here.  72 days for you is fantastic, congratulations to both of us.

Thanks Tom, needed that extra boost this morning. Most days are really easy and then bam... mind tricks. Which I haven't given into, but needed that push as a reminder! 6 weeks smoke free and hanging in there.

72 days is amazing after 35 year! I smoked 31 years and on Sunday I will have 8 months smoke free. Congrats to us! Thanks for inspiring us to keep walking the straight and narrow path to freedom.
