wow!!! is my 6th day.  I have one patch left for tomorrow and I am debating if to buy another pack or perhaps I am strong enough to do it alone,,,,, I am afraid of geeting used to the patch.... I do not know..... what you guys think???

I thought I remind myself of the benefits of not smoking.... here we go:

1.- I can breath (an important one)

2.- I smell gooooood (I like that)

3.- I have more energy  (yea)

4.- I found myself not procrostineting (sorry for the mispell,,,, that is a big one for me)

5.- Some of my wrinklers are dissapearing and amazingly now I woke up in the morning and I dont have those awful bags under my eyes (now..... girls.... that is worth every pain I am going throu)

I thought I share this with you guys.... Today is my 6th day and I feel OK, I wouldnt say I feel great, for some awkward reason my body ackes....

You know.... I was thinking I am 45 years old and although for some of the readers here I might be an "antique"... I want to feel good... I have met men and women that are over 65 and act like they are in their 30's.... there common thread??... none of them smoke and all of them watch what they eat.... that is what I want to be..

I believe in we create as we think....... therefore I recreate myself.... I now am a healthy vigourous women of 45 years old..... I accept myself as I am today knowing that anything that needs imporvement I have the power to change it.....

LOVE YA ALL!!!!!!! COULD NOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOU GUYS....... SEE YA ON DAY 7

Add reason number 6: Saving Money!, and a lot of it at that. In Philadelphia it is over $6 a pack. I know Manhattan is around $10. With prices rising and legislation changing only the rich and the devoted will continue to smoke in the North East. I used to smoke nearly a pack a day. When I looked at the math it kind of scared me into quitting. $6 per pack X 7 days a week X 104 weeks of smoking (2 years) = Nearly $4,500. That's the price of a nice vacation.

Wow!  Great post!  Very upbeat and positive and reinforces my own quit just reading about yours.  Thanks so much and please keep this sort of attitude going right into week 2, which is just around the corner.  Congrats to you for almost going a full week already!  Great work!

Keep up the great work!!!  I am rounding week three and have never felt better!  I love how my skin looks too!!  P.S. have you noticed how nasty smokers smell yet?  I walked by a smoker the other day and it nearly made me sick.  I can smell again!!
