My finger nails are no longer yellow. I was clipping my finger nails and realized that my finger nails are perfectly white. And my skin also has lost a yellow sheen to it. 60days smoke free seems like such a little amount of time to brag about. The ex elders are upwards in years. I am so proud of the people who have chosen to be supportive of me. They are such loving souls. Thank you again for setting the examples you do.

Hooray! I never noticed any of the cool external physical benefits of quitting, though I had people compliment my skin after quitting. Congratulations on gorgeous nails--you should paint them as a reward!!! And congrats on 60 days---you are doing great!!!

Congrats on 60 days to an amazing woman!! You're really doing this!! Has the GOT IT lightbulb gone off in your head? It did for me right about where you are. Come on, we're doing NML together and loving it. Love ya,

60 days is NOT A LITTLE AMOUNT TO BRAG ABOUT!       You need to shout it from the roof tops, scream it out at the top of your lungs and yes, even put up a billboard on the freeway!      Each day that we have is a day to brag about.   Don't compare yourself to those with years quit because they were where we are.....and if you ask they will say they had their own struggles but HAD VICTORIES each day!         Practice this........

Celebrate everyday that you are smoke-free.

I remember being excited about having white finger nails and a better complexion also. Don't you love it? Believe it or not, the benefits of being smoke-free will continue to astonish you as you grow in your quit.

My favorite benefit from quitting was the self-empowerment that I found. Apparently, it was there the entire time, but I was too busy hiding behind that cloud of smoke to see it.

Keep protecting your precious quit no matter what. 🙂

Never compare yourself to others.  We ALL had to get through H#ll and Heck Weeks - and No Man's Land.  Each person's success is a singular achievement!

You are doing GREAT and should be very proud.

Kudos!

60 days is huge. every day smoke free is an awesome accomplishment. I did love when the yellow started fading and was replaced by white :).

Quitting smoking does so much for someone. I feel smarter, prettier, and have way more freedom to live and do the things I want to do and not waste my time smoking.

Congrats to you for your 60 days!

I will be re reading this posts for days to come. I am sure while I am working my way through my NML the feelings of accomplishment and love these posts give me with strengthen me in weakness. Giving me the strength along with my God to kick the Nicodemon in the butt. Dale the NML and your writings are what I am strongly in the middle of. Yes I have had some nightmare cravings. Loved one of the ladies in here that said "Holy Cravings Batman" was exactly what I feel. Like outta no where some serious lies coming to the surface almost like I need a "Sword of Truth" to kick it, knowledge is power and thanks Dale for handing us that helpful hints to our own "Sword of Truth". I am so very thankful for my EX family.
